Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is a key member of the site leadership team responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineering function and advancing operational excellence through innovation, continuous improvement, and people development. This role builds and develops a high-performing engineering team while partnering with Commercial, Design Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Quality to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance, and support the site's long-term growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop Manufacturing Engineers while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Commercial, Design Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Quality teams to support new product introductions, customer growth opportunities, and manufacturing readiness, ensuring successful product launches and scalable production processes.
- Drive process improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost performance.
- Lead Continuous Improvement and waste elimination initiatives that drive operational excellence and support business growth.
- Manage capital projects, equipment installations, and technology upgrades to improve manufacturing capability and efficiency.
- Support capacity planning, labor optimization, and manufacturing readiness to meet current and future business demands.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve manufacturing, process, and quality issues.
- Establish and maintain manufacturing standards, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
- Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics, including productivity, quality, OEE, throughput, scrap, and cost performance.
Requiredskills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
- Proven project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions

Work Environment:
This position operates in both office and manufacturing environments. While in production areas, the employee may be exposed to moderate noise levels, moving machinery, airborne particles, and varying temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when entering designated manufacturing areas.
Expected Compensation: $115,000 - $156,000
The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
