  • Design, specify, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment required to support manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production fixtures and tooling.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, procedures, and process documentation that clearly define production methods and quality requirements.
  • Create and maintain visual workmanship standards and key process documentation to support consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering to identify, evaluate, and implement product and process improvements that address manufacturing challenges and enhance efficiency.
  • Research, evaluate, justify, and implement new equipment, technologies, and manufacturing methods to improve productivity, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Provide technical training and ongoing support to production personnel on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and best practices.
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing work cells, including equipment selection, facility layout, workflow optimization, and process validation.
  • Provide technical support related to vendor-supplied tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes, including supplier evaluations and performance assessments.
  • Perform periodic audits, inspections, and evaluations of manufacturing equipment, processes, and work areas to ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
