Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Engineer III atour Fullerton, CA location, you'll be part of our engineering team working asan onsite employe. This role develops, evaluates and enhances manufacturingmethods for aerospace machined components, utilizing knowledge of productdesign, materials, fabrication processes, lean principles, assembly methods andquality control standards.'''
Key Responsibilities:
' Support manufacturing processes toensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
' Assist with creating and maintainingwork instructions, routers, and standard operating procedures.
' Support process changes, validationsand shop-floor improvements.
' Participating in NPI, FAI, andContinuous Improvement Projects.
' Collects and analyzes basicmanufacturing data (cycle time, scrap rate, yield).
' Reviews and implements manufacturingdrawing and engineering change notices.
' Support Cost-Reduction and Efficiencyinitiatives.
Participates in PFMEA, ProcessCapability, and RCCA studies
Qualifications
BasicQualifications
' Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Mechanical,Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (OR equivalent hands-on relevantexperience will also be considered).
' 3+ years of engineering experience.
' Strong knowledge of CNC manufacturingand aerospace standards.
' Experience with AS9100 and NADCAPstandards.
' Knowledge of GD&T, fixturing andgaging methods.
' Statistical process control experiencein the aerospace industry.
' Basic Computer Skills: Microsoft OfficeSuite products, and strong knowledge of Solidworks or other modeling software.
' Experience in metal manufacturing,especially using titanium and/or nickel based superalloys.
Salary Range:
' The base pay range for this position inCalifornia is $79,100.00 - 110,700.00/year. Pay is based on market location andmay vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-onpayment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to afull range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on theposition offered.
