What You Will Do

  • Interpret manufacturing requirements, develop and maintain Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs), and document manufacturingpractices

  • Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting and incorporating Engineering changes into the MDPs

  • Disposition non-conforming material with root cause and correction action analysis as required

  • Generate Change Requests (CRs) on technicalissues relating to the production manufacturing processDrive Continuous Improvement through process improvements to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk to assemblers, reduce cost, and improve space utilization, using CORE tools and data driven decision making

  • Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators, in-house as well as the supply base

  • Tool/fixture development

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 0-2 years of prior relevant experience.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior internship, industry or manufacturing relevant experience

  • Previous experience with cable and wire harness design or manufacturing including point to point, branched harnesses, and radio frequency technology and/or knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001

  • Experience with automated tooling, machinery, and programming

  • A continuous improvement mindset to enhancemanufacturing methods through processmodernization

  • Active CONFIDENTIAL or SECRET clearance

  • Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
