About the Role:

Gartner seeks a Managing Vice President (MVP) who will own Gartner's enterprise publishing modernization strategy end-to-end, resetting how we package, produce, and deliver insights, data, strong positions, and branded vendor assets to align with changing CXO consumption preferences and digital expectations.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead three core teams and integrate them into one operating engine:
    • Editorial and Production: end-to-end editing and production for Gartner research and branded assets
    • Multimedia and Graphics: modern visual storytelling, formats, and interactive experiences
    • Templates, Voice, and Titling: simplified authoring systems, executive-aligned voice, and high-impact naming standards
  • Establishes AI-enabled publishing frameworks that leverage large language models and structured authoring systems to accelerate production, improve consistency, and enable scalable transformation of insights across written, visual, and multimedia formats.
  • Sets a forward-looking publishing roadmap informed by market direction, competitive benchmarking, and evolving content ecosystems, then works backward to operationalize new formats and standards at scale.
  • Drives enterprise change management across practices, partnering with senior leaders to shift behaviors and standards so Gartner publishes faster, clearer, and with higher client impact across Gartner.com, AskGartner, marketing, and product experiences.
  • Sits at the intersection of insight creation and client delivery, ensuring that what the business produces flows efficiently and powerfully through the Gartner ecosystem to maximize authority, engagement, and retention.


What You'll Need:

Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, business, marketing, data analytics); Master's preferred.
  • At least 15 years' experience in a relevant field/role.
  • Experience working at a large publishing organization or working on overhauling large scale publishing divisions.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 226,000 USD - 283,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
