About the Role The
Managing Veterinarian provides medical leadership, mentors associate veterinarians, and partners with hospital leadership to support hospital growth, team culture, and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead medical and surgical case management
- Mentor and support veterinary team members
- Establish medical protocols and quality standards
- Partner on hospital operations, staffing, and financial performance
- Help grow the practice through community involvement and client experience initiatives
Qualifications - DVM/VMD degree from an accredited program
- Active Iowa veterinary license (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passion for practicing high-quality veterinary medicine and surgery
