Job Description Summary
The Managing Principal (MP) is responsible for realizing the full potential of a given territory through providing overall leadership & direction and creating & implementing strategic business plans. The MP is accountable for leveraging the firm's capabilities to maximize opportunities for business development, profitability, quality client service and expansion of market share. The Managing Principal is the standard bearer for the firm and is responsible for modelling and promoting the highest standards of leadership and values.

Knowledge and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required. An MBA or other advanced degree with real estate or operations concentration is highly desirable
  • 15+ years of commercial real estate brokerage and/or asset management experience
  • Demonstrate ability in leading, motivating and inspiring diverse work teams. Be fluent in the language and principals of institutional investment real estate
  • Strong credibility in the local market, with the ability to recruit and retain key talent
  • Extensive experience working with institutional clients with a knowledge of development, property management, asset sales, contract negotiations, gross and/or net leasing, re-positioning, real estate valuation metrics, and risk management strategies
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

Detail-oriented with a solid ability to think and communicate strategically

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 297,500.00 - $350,000.00
