About the Role

FTI Consulting's Healthcare Business Transformation practice, part of the Corporate Finance segment, helps healthcare organizations and their stakeholders address complex strategic, operational and financial challenges. As a Managing Director on the Revenue Cycle and Financial Optimization team, you will advise healthcare providers, private equity firms and corporate clients on diligence, financial transformation, performance improvement, turnaround and related engagements. You will lead client relationships and multidisciplinary teams, apply deep healthcare business and financial expertise, and use operational and financial data to develop practical recommendations and measurable results. The Managing Director will collaborate with Senior Managing Directors to manage engagements, develop the sales pipeline and expand client relationships. You will be accountable for project teams, engagement quality, client outcomes and sales targets.

What You'll Do
• Provide project and client management expertise as needed.
• Serve as a client executive, interfacing with clients at a high level.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative revenue cycle, financial and operational expertise to diligence, transformation, performance improvement and turnaround engagements.
• Articulate our findings to stakeholders and manage strategic planning of ongoing engagements.
• Refine and develop methodologies and outputs to identify potential savings and operational improvements for clients.
• Assist in and in some cases direct efforts to generate revenue and originate new client relationships.
• Begin to independently develop and manage business across the segment.
• Develop relationships with other segments of FTI to help ensure cross segment growth of the business.
• Assist in the recruitment, retention and management of Healthcare Business Transformation team members.
• Develop proposals, pitch materials, and business cases for new client presentations.
• Monitor project oversight, finances, quality, and execution in partnership with Senior Managing Directors.
• Manage Consultants, Senior Consultants, Directors and Senior Directors; provide mentoring and training to strengthen their capabilities in revenue cycle, financial analysis, diligence, performance improvement and client delivery.
• Assist with internal practice development opportunities as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; a degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, healthcare administration, information systems or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience advising or working with healthcare providers, private equity firms or corporate clients, with substantial experience in revenue cycle, financial transformation, performance improvement, turnaround, transaction diligence or related areas.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional services consulting, including work with healthcare organizations, investors or corporate clients on financial, operational, transaction or restructuring matters.
• Project management experience of multiple large engagements required; Lean Six Sigma, or Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
• Must be willing to travel, travel requirements can be up to 80% based on client demands.
• Demonstrated abilities in developing strong relationships with C-suite representatives at targeted clients.
• Proven sales and business development experience required.
• Ability and willingness to mentor and promote staff development.
• Travel required to clients and to FTI office(s).

Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience leading complex engagements and developing teams within healthcare consulting, revenue cycle management, financial transformation, performance improvement, turnaround or transaction advisory is preferred.

Compensation

Minimum Pay: $196,500.00

Maximum Pay: $413,000.00

Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual's location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
