Full Job Description
As Managing Director Americas you will drive the commercial success and operational excellence of Jettainer Americas Inc's business.

Combining strategic leadership with a strong sales focus, you will shape regional growth, strengthen key partnerships and ensure outstanding service delivery across the region.

Tasks
Reporting directly to the CEO of Jettainer GmbH and working closely with the management team, based in Germany, you will represent Jettainer in the market, identify new business opportunities, and translate regional knowledge into sustainable commercial success.

  • Lead and develop the regional sales and operations strategy to ensure the achievement of commercial and financial goals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to derive own sales activities, acquire new customer and conduct negotiations.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, commercial responsibility for all products and customers in the region and further develop and implement the regional commercial strategy.
  • Lead ULD Control Desk, including responsibility for the onboarding of new customers and ensure contractually agreed-upon services and operational stability.
  • Manage operational and customer performance, identify measures for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, provide feedback and recommendations to global process owners for improvements.

  • Completed relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through relevant training and professional experience.
  • Many years of relevant professional and leadership experience in the areas of sales and operations.
  • Good knowledge of the air cargo and aviation industry.
  • Strong entrepreneurial thinking and action, high cost awareness, ability to recognize and assess economic relationships, and a strong willingness to take responsibility.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and motivate employees in international teams.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent Spanish skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong customer orientation, communication skills, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to represent the company both internally and externally.
  • Resilience; willingness to travel.
