Epic Revenue Cycle Technology Managing Consultant
Remote

We are seeking an Epic Revenue Cycle Technology Managing Consultant to support Guidehouse on a commercial health revenue cycle technology initiative focused on Epic revenue cycle optimization, hospital billing performance, reporting readiness, KPI tracking, and client-facing delivery.

This is a remote opportunity supporting a sold and funded commercial health project. The Epic Revenue Cycle Technology Managing Consultant will own day-to-day delivery across Epic revenue cycle technology and analytics workstreams, helping clients improve billing workflows, reporting processes, operational performance, and post-live stabilization.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Epic revenue cycle workflows, healthcare IT delivery, revenue cycle consulting, hospital or professional billing, claims/remittance, denials, revenue integrity, workflow optimization, testing, reporting support, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities include:

Owning day-to-day delivery for Epic revenue cycle technology and analytics workstreams

Leading client working sessions with operational, technical, reporting, and revenue cycle stakeholders

Supporting Epic hospital billing, professional billing, claims, denials, revenue integrity, reimbursement, AR, and patient financial services optimization efforts

Developing workplans, managing risks, tracking deliverables, and supporting project status reporting

Assisting with KPI definition, metric logic, baseline analysis, reporting requirements, dashboards, and performance insights

Analyzing revenue cycle trends, workflow gaps, system issues, and reporting gaps to identify improvement opportunities

Supporting Epic revenue cycle implementation, optimization, go-live readiness, post-live stabilization, and transition activities

Coordinating with application teams, reporting teams, revenue cycle operations, client leadership, and project stakeholders

Preparing client-facing deliverables, presentations, status updates, findings, and recommendations

Coaching and supporting Senior Consultants, Consultants, analysts, and client team members as needed

Required Qualifications:

Experience in Epic revenue cycle technology, revenue cycle consulting, revenue cycle operations, or healthcare IT delivery

Hands-on understanding of Epic revenue cycle workflows, including hospital billing, professional billing, claims, remittance, denials, charge capture, revenue integrity, reimbursement, AR, or patient financial services

Experience supporting Epic implementations, optimizations, upgrades, testing, go-live support, post-live stabilization, or workflow redesign

Experience working with client or internal stakeholders to define requirements, resolve issues, and improve revenue cycle performance

Ability to support KPI tracking, reporting requirements, baseline analysis, dashboard development, or performance improvement efforts

Strong project delivery, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to operate independently while collaborating across operational, technical, reporting, and analytics teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Epic Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims and Remittance, Revenue Guardian, Charge Router, or Revenue Integrity

Experience with Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Radar, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting and analytics tools

Prior consulting experience

Experience leading workstreams or small project teams

Experience supporting large health systems, commercial health clients, multi-site provider organizations, or Epic revenue cycle transformation projects
