Full Job Description
Managing Consultant- Market Access
Location: New York | Full-time

About the Role:

As a manager you are responsible for overseeing the delivery of outstanding projects. Managers, together with your teams, develop and communicate solutions, strategic insights, and recommendations to clients. In this role, you will collaborate with senior leaders and independently manage client relationships on each project. You will typically oversee multiple projects simultaneously as well as contributing to expanding our US Market Access capability by working closely with our US director on business development.

What You'll Do:
  • Acting as the day-to-day manager for a portfolio of consulting projects with responsibility for project delivery and client relationships
  • Leveraging expertise in US healthcare systems regarding strategic pricing and reimbursement, as well as key stakeholder needs and perspectives
  • Developing qualitative discussion guides and conducting interviews with payers and KOLs
  • Developing and creatively evolving key US Market Access tools by leveraging clinical data analysis
  • Designing, preparing and facilitating client workshops
  • Preparing and delivering management presentations, communications, and support material
  • Actively developing junior resources in general pharma knowledge and consulting skills
  • Contributing to business development and assisting with or leading proposal development
  • Supporting people related activities such as recruitment, training and development

What we're looking for:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Consultancy in the pharmaceutical industry in the US, both in delivery as well as leading workstreams/smaller projects and with some global experience and expertise.
  • Considerable expertise in Market Access, pricing and reimbursement and a strong understanding of the US healthcare system across all books of business and payer landscapes.
  • Significant experience conducting payer interviews and leading projects conducting qualitative primary research with US payers and healthcare providers. This would include drafting interview guides, moderating discussions, and synthesizing transcript data into delivery materials.
  • Substantial experience with client engagement and running client meetings
  • Extensive experience developing or refining US specific payer value proposition or mapping our US Market Access pathways for new/innovative products would be highly desirable.
  • Proven Customer relationship building capabilities
  • Ability to coach and develop junior consultants
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages being a plus.
  • Ability to work in our NYC office at a minimum of 2 days a week
  • Authorization to work in the United States (U.S. work eligibility required)
