Do you want to shape how a Fortune 500 company plans its workforce for the future? Our Workforce Strategy & Analytics team partners with leaders across the enterprise to turn data into actionable insights that support the growth and effectiveness of our business.

The Manager, Workforce Planning will lead high impact analytical work, develop forecasting and staffing strategies, and guide business leaders with insights that help them optimize organizational design and talent investment decisions. This role blends strategic thinking, data analytics, and business partnership, influencing decisions across Buying, Planning, Allocation, and other key functions.

The base salary range for this role is $96,700 - $120,000. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

What you will do and what you will learn...
  • Lead the design, execution, and communication of advanced analyses on workforce trends, organizational structure, hiring, promotions, retention, and associate movement.
  • Create and present data driven recommendations to senior leaders and executives, often synthesizing complex findings into actionable business strategies.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain large-scale workforce planning models, including forecast models for staffing, budgeting, organizational design, and talent development.
  • Oversee the design and maintenance of organizational charts and workforce planning materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and availability for critical business cycles.
  • Manage partnerships with HR leadership, Finance, and functional executives to support enterprise workforce planning processes and rhythm of business activities.
  • Mentor Analysts and provide oversight and quality review for analytic deliverables, dashboards, models, reports, and presentations.
  • Build scalable analytics processes and continuously improve data, tools, and methodologies used across the Workforce Planning team.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and guide stakeholders through interpreting insights, identifying root causes, and shaping action plans to address workforce challenges.
  • Represent Workforce Planning in meetings, planning cycles, and cross-department initiatives.
  • Complete complex and strategic ad hoc analyses and projects as assigned.

What you need to be successful...
  • BA/BS required; Master's degree preferred (e.g., Business, Economics, Psychology, Data Science, or related quantitative/social sciences).
  • 4-6 years of experience in Workforce Planning, HR Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field; prior project leadership or informal people leadership strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and workforce analytics tools; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms required.
  • Experience with data modeling or programming (SQL, Python, R, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex datasets and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, lead initiatives, and work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong judgment, confidentiality, and attention to accuracy.
