What will you do?
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes and template completions
  • Drive control and governance enhancement initiatives to streamline operations
  • Lead end-to-end flow analysis collaboratively across the CM Finance team
  • Coordinate balance sheet attestation and SOD package reviews with stakeholders
  • Improve efficiency of manual processes and identify better ways of working
  • Partner with trading desks, risk management, operations, IT, and Finance functions on financial reporting projects

Must-have
  • CPA or equivalent designation with strong IFRS accounting knowledge and internal controls expertise
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ownership mindset with sense of urgency
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively at all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Access


Nice-to-have
  • Exposure to Capital Markets businesses with understanding of complex financial instruments, securities, derivatives, and debt/equity issuances
  • Knowledge of RBC financial systems, EPM, and associated procedures
  • Minimum 3 years of Financial/management reporting experience in financial institutions
