We are now looking for a
Site Resource Manager, Network USA to join our North America team. In this role, you will lead a team of site professionals supporting the successful delivery of power generation projects worldwide. You will play a key role in resource planning, people leadership, safety, competence development, and operational excellence while collaborating closely with project management and delivery teams.

What will you be doing?As
Site Resource Manager, Network USA, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop Wartsila's construction and commissioning services resource hub in the US.
- Leading a team of construction and commissioning professionals.
- Managing workforce planning, resource allocation, and utilization to support project delivery objectives.
- Performing line management responsibilities, including coaching, performance management, and employee development.
- Supporting onboarding, site mobilization, and assignment planning for team members.
- Coordinating travel, work authorization, visa, and compliance requirements for international assignments.
- Collaborating with project management and delivery teams to ensure project staffing needs are met.
- Driving technical competency development and succession planning within the team.
- Supporting recruitment activities and workforce growth initiatives.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with Wärtsilä QEHS standards.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across the organization.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Living Wärtsilä's values and promoting collaboration, accountability, and customer success.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:Education- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience- 7+ years of experience in construction, commissioning, project execution, field services, power generation, energy, industrial, or related industries.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience, including team management, coaching, and performance development.
- Experience in workforce planning, resource management, and capacity allocation.
- Strong understanding of construction and commissioning activities within power generation, EPC, industrial, or energy projects.
- Experience supporting global or multi-site project organizations is considered an advantage.
- Experience with recruiting, talent development, and succession planning.
Technical Skills- Familiarity with project execution and resource planning methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience working with ERP, project management, or resource management systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HSSE standards and safe work practices in industrial environments.

Additional Information- Preferred locations: Houston, Texas or Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Travel requirement: Approximately 10%, including occasional domestic and international travel for training, onboarding, internal meetings, and business needs.
