Job Title: Associate Manager, Operations Management - Master Production Schedule Job Code: 44285 Job Location: Waco, TX (Onsite) Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

This position will be responsible to manage the growing team of Demand Schedulers. This team maintains the L3Harris Waco Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure alignment to contract needs as well as available capacity for the site. This position will be responsible for maintaining budgets, providing bid support, and increasing the efficiency of our scheduling processes. E3 will be a significant responsibility of this role.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage budgets and manpower for WPS function.
  • Provide bid and proposal support.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities with the demand scheduling team.
  • Manage multiple employees in the role of demand scheduling and capacity planning.
  • Coordinate with functions across the site to ensure production and programs have a consistent executable schedule.
  • Ensure Manufacturing capacity is maintained in an executable schedule.
  • Track quality and efficiencies of demand scheduling process.
  • Understand and perform SME activities on SAP scheduling processes.
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 6 years prior Scheduling or Production Control experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior Scheduling or Production Control experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years working with SAP.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a management or supervisory position.
