Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Regional Travel Manager to address service quality and compliance issues.
  • Proactively report on policy compliance and influence behaviors to ensure adherence.
  • Work with local offices and Travel Management Companies to enhance service support.
  • Identify and rectify process gaps for improved traveler experiences.
  • Support global and regional travel initiatives while aligning local needs with wider objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships for air, hotel, and car rental services alongside Travel Category Managers.
  • Address service and contractual matters to achieve optimal outcomes.

Full Job Description
YOUR IMPACT

You will collaborate with the Regional Travel Manager to identify and address service-related issues such as quality control and service level adherence, and partner with local offices and our Travel Management Company to improve service support.

You will proactively address and report on policy compliance and related issues by not only providing recommendations on policy and process updates, but by also influencing behaviors to ensure a high level of policy adherence. Additionally, you will partner with local finance, tax, and payment teams to resolve policy, approval, or payment issues, and identifying and correcting process gaps to ensure a seamless traveler experience.

You will partner with the Regional Travel Manager to support and drive both global & regional travel initiatives and bring efficiencies in your areas. You must be able to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement to drive continuous improvement in our operations. You will balance working with a global team to meet wider goals and objectives while aligning these with the needs and objectives of local stakeholders.

You will work closely with Travel Category Managers on key supplier relationships for air, hotel, and car rental services, and you will address service and contractual matters, ensuring optimal outcomes. Together with the Regional Travel Manager, your efforts will align with and achieve the broader goals set forth by Optimize Travel.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Undergraduate degree and demonstrable intellectual curiosity through professional training, advanced degree or professional impact
  • 5+ years of relevant corporate travel experience in North America, GDS knowledge is a plus
  • Demonstrated record of impact in previous roles
  • Ability to thrive in a complex organization
