MANAGER, TRAINING & QUALITY IMPROVEMENT - Child Welfare Programs

(Bronx, NY - Full Time)

University Behavioral Associates (UBA), part of Montefiore Medical Center, is seeking a skilled and motivated Training & Quality Improvement Manager to translate clinical insight into measurable outcomes and stronger practice. This role leads data-informed quality improvement and workforce development across child welfare programs.

What You'll Do
  • Build and manage systems that translate clinical and program data into actionable insights, dashboards, and key performance indicators
  • Lead quality assurance, audits, and compliance monitoring across child welfare, behavioral health, and regulatory standards
  • Identify trends in safety, permanency, well-being, and service delivery-and turn findings into improvement plans
  • Design and deliver high-impact staff trainings, coaching, and tools to strengthen documentation, fidelity, and evidence-based practice
  • Partner with clinical and program leadership to drive continuous quality improvement and performance outcomes
  • Supervise analytic/technical staff and support audit readiness, reporting, and stakeholder communication


What You Bring
  • Strong analytics + QA/CQI expertise with the ability to connect data, clinical practice, and operations
  • Experience in child welfare/behavioral health and regulatory compliance (e.g., Medicaid, HIPAA)
  • Advanced Excel/data visualization skills and sharp problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication, training, and cross-team collaboration skills

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Master's preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience
  • Associates must have ability to develop detailed policies and procedures.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of the principles and procedures of MMC.
  • Flexibility and ability to find creative solutions to challenges
  • Strong interpersonal skill in working with clients, colleagues, and when interfacing with other agencies


Starting Salary: $90,000

Location: 55 E. 208th Street, Bronx NY 10467 (some travel required)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
