Salary Range: $128,430 - $142,700

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES- Plan, develop, and organize all terminal operating activities and required supporting programs to achieve the safest most efficient, economical operations consistent with safety, quality, and customer service.
- Develop and supervise Terminal Trainmasters and TY&E employees.
- Develop short and long term plans to improve mainline train and yard switching operations.
- Ensure compliance with BNSF's equal employment policies, safety and operating rules, schedule agreements, and Government regulations.
- Interface with various work groups to continually meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Hold investigations and recommend discipline.
- Develop continuous improvement processes to assist with controlling costs to meet budget goals.
- Assist in the development and execution of the Terminal Safety Action Plan to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
- Assist in investigations of train accidents and injury reporting.
- Position may be subject to on call status and/or work shifts, holidays and weekends.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Prior terminal operations experience is required
- Supervisory experience is required
- Proven team leader
- Must possess an extensive knowledge of operating rules and schedule agreements applicable to the TY&E crafts
- Individual must also possess leadership and organizational skills as well as excellent working knowledge of day-to-day railroad operations and practices
- Must also possess strong TSS Xpress system knowledge
