Full Job Description
Summary: The Telecommunications Operations Manager leads and manages the enterprise's telecommunications functions, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with business objectives. This role involves strategic planning, engineering, design, and resource allocation while maintaining quality standards and evaluating network performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations, planning, and resource allocation for telecommunications functions.
  • Ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction by evaluating network performance and interfaces.
  • Develop and implement standards, procedures, and processes for the telecommunications group.
  • Plan and manage the support of new technologies, ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Define and negotiate service level agreements with vendors and customers.
  • Oversee and coordinate daily activities of the operations center.
  • Collaborate with senior IT leadership to align telecommunication plans with business objectives.

  • Perform coordination roles with enterprise management, vendors, and customers.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT work experience, including managing teams responsible for infrastructure/network/telecommunications operations in multi-platform environments.
  • Experience in middle-level management within telecommunications operations.
  • Ability to manage and mentor supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff.
  • Proficiency in handling multiple complex projects as a project leader and subject matter expert.
