In Technology Strategy You Will:
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, defining strategy at the intersection of technology and business.
• Articulate a compelling technology vision with industry and functional expertise.
• Shape the role of technology in business strategies to drive growth and competitive advantage.
• Identify and prioritize value creation opportunities through assessment of current technology capabilities and investments.
• Define technology transformation strategies, target-state architectures, and technology roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Develop operating models and business cases leveraging emerging and disruptive technologies.
• Lead technology architecture assessments and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to create practical transformation plans across applications, infrastructure, platforms, and data.
• Lead the creation of thought leadership and market-relevant insights on technology strategy and innovation.
• Pressure-test assumptions made by leadership teams, including AI-generated insights.
• Validate AI-assisted analysis with logic, experience, and domain knowledge.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, modeling, and scenario analysis.
As a Manager You Will:
• Manage a single project or major workstream, driving overall team deliverables while supervising and mentoring team members.
• Lead technology strategy, architecture assessment, blueprinting, and roadmap engagements for Energy industry clients.
• Develop executive-level deliverables including technology strategies, transformation roadmaps, business cases, and target-state blueprints.
• Build strong relationships with senior clients and begin developing C-suite relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.
• Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder discussions to align on technology vision and transformation priorities.
• Drive results and gain consensus for action while navigating complex client environments.
• Coach and develop junior team members through active mentorship and leadership.
• Support business development, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and SOW creation.
• Drive thought leadership, asset development, and intellectual capital efforts.
• Travel as needed.
Here's What You Need:
• Minimum 1 year of strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
oTechnology strategy
oTechnology transformation
oTechnology architecture
oOperating model strategy
oM&A technology integration
oTechnology value realization and cost optimization
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing business cases, technology strategies, or transformation roadmaps.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams, facilitating workshops, and developing strategic recommendations.
• Experience developing technology architecture blueprints, target-state strategies, or transformation roadmaps.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline.
Bonus Points If:
• Experience serving Energy industry clients.
• Experience with Technology Architecture Blueprint & Roadmap Definition.
• Experience conducting technology architecture assessments and defining future-state architectures.
• MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
• Comfortable using AI tools for research, synthesis, and analysis.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply sound judgment.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to coach and develop junior team members.
• Experience developing practical technology transformation roadmaps and implementation strategies.
