Role Summary

On Location is seeking aManager, Technology Operationsto support the planning, governance, delivery, and operational readiness of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic technology portfolio. Working in a matrixed environment, this role connects Technology Operations, Product, Engineering, Data, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Support, business teams, external vendors, and LA28/IOC stakeholders to maintain integrated plans, surface risks, facilitate decisions, and prepare initiatives for launch and Games-time operations.

The ideal candidate is a structured and collaborative program leader who can bring clarity to ambiguity, manage competing priorities, influence without direct authority, and communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day technology engagement with external program stakeholders and partner organizations, including governance forums, status reporting, requirements alignment, decision management, dependency tracking, issue escalation, and follow-through.

  • Lead planning and governance for assigned technology programs and operational initiatives.

  • Translateobjectivesinto integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and actions.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Technology, Product, Engineering, Data, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Support, and business functions.

  • Establish operating cadences, communication paths, escalation procedures, and clear ownership across workstreams.

  • Prepare executive-ready status reports, readouts, agendas, decisionlogsand governance materials.

  • Track delivery progress, surface tradeoffs, and escalate risks, blockers, and unresolved decisions.

  • Support UAT, release readiness, go-live planning, production launches, hyper care, and Games-time operational readiness.

  • Coordinate security and compliance dependencies, including penetration testing, remediation tracking, and partner communications.

  • Lead lessons learned andimproverepeatable delivery, PMO, and governance practices.

Qualifications

  • 4+years of experience in technology program management, PMO, technical project management, ora relatedrole.

  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technology programs with multiple teams and dependencies.

  • Strong skills in planning, RAID management, dependency tracking, reporting, meeting facilitation, and escalation.

  • Ability to translate technical information into clear business and executive communications.

  • Experience coordinating software delivery, integrations, testing, releases, or operational readiness.

  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with common program management, collaboration, documentation, and reporting tools.

Preferred experience

  • Major sporting events,consulting,live events, hospitality, ticketing, ecommerce, or other time-critical consumer programs.

  • Olympic, Paralympic, IOC, OCOG, federation, venue, or rights-holder environments.

  • Enterprise integrations, data sharing, cybersecurity reviews, penetration testing, or third-party technology governance.

  • Globally distributed teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$93,750 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$125,000 annually
