Your Team:

Join the Information Technology team at Flair as a Manager, Technical Product, where innovation, collaboration, and technology come together to build solutions that support both our customers and our business. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, the Manager, Technical Product serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and Software Engineering, ensuring technology initiatives are effectively assessed, prioritized, planned, and delivered. This role is responsible for managing the intake and discovery process for new initiatives, coordinating delivery across technology teams, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives, technical standards, and delivery capacity. Combining product delivery, stakeholder management, process governance, and technical coordination, the Manager, Technical Product supports the successful delivery of websites, mobile applications, customer-facing platforms, integrations, AI solutions, data products, and internal business systems.

This role is located on-site at any of our offices in Calgary, AB (YYC), Edmonton, AB (YEG), Toronto, ON (YYZ), or Vancouver, BC (YVR).

A Day in the Life:

As a Manager, Technical Product, you will:
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, requirements, and priorities.
  • Facilitate intake, discovery, and prioritization of technology initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into actionable delivery plans for engineering teams.
  • Support roadmap planning and delivery execution.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between business and technology teams.
  • Facilitate communication, decision-making, and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and changes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Drive adherence to delivery, intake, and governance processes.
  • Coordinate activities across Software Engineering, DevOps, Data Engineering, AI/ML, QA, Security, and external vendors.
  • Support planning, release readiness, and successful solution delivery.
  • Ensure visibility into progress, timelines, and key decisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What You Bring to the Role:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Delivery, or a related technology-focused role.
    • Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
    • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities across complex technology initiatives.
    • Experience supporting the delivery of digital products, websites, mobile applications, integrations, customer-facing platforms, or internal business systems.
    • Experience working with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
    • Experience working in fast-paced, technology-driven environments.
    • Familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, data platforms, and modern software development practices is considered an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong understanding of Agile software delivery methodologies and product development lifecycles.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
    • Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable technical requirements.
    • Strong organizational, facilitation, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
    • Ability to influence decisions, drive alignment, and build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Requirements:
    • Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references.
    • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
