Location: Hybrid (2-3 days) in Glendale WI
The Manager-Technical Accounting and External Reporting will support the Company's technical accounting analysis and external reporting requirements. Reporting to the Director-Technical Accounting and External Reporting, this role will work closely with senior team members to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and high-quality documentation while gaining exposure to complex accounting areas and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in researching and analyzing technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and documenting conclusions in accounting memos.
- Significant involvement in the preparation of external financial reporting, including footnotes and disclosures for quarterly and annual reports.
- Monitor new accounting standards and assist with adoption and implementation efforts.
- Coordinate with external auditors to support quarterly reviews and annual audits, including preparation of audit support.
- Help maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to financial reporting, close activities, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting-related matters.
- Support special projects such as transactions, system enhancements, or reporting optimization initiatives.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting (Big 4 audit or advisory) and industry experience; candidates with only Big 4 experience will be considered. Public company experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and interest in technical accounting and external reporting.
- Experience supporting audits and preparing technical accounting memos.
- Workiva experience is a strong plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP for ERP and/or OneStream for consolidation a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

The Salary range for this position is $94,400.00-$119,950.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
