Full Job Description
We are seeking a Manager of Talent Development who will be the driving force behind programs that ignite employee growth, boost engagement, and accelerate organizational success. From leadership development to succession planning, you'll create experiences that inspire and empower our people to reach their full potential.

What you'll do:
  • Program Design & Delivery

Design, deliver, and continuously enhance enterprise talent development programs, including leadership development, talent reviews, career pathways, and mentorship using blended delivery methods.
  • Strategic Alignment & Consulting

Translate business priorities into targeted talent development strategies and act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and leaders on capability building and organizational readiness.
  • Succession Planning & High-Potential Development

Lead enterprise succession planning and talent review cycles by partnering with HRBP's to assess bench strength, identify critical role pipelines, and drive targeted development plans that accelerate readiness and mitigate talent risks.
  • Assessment Strategy

Select, administer, and interpret assessments (e.g., 360s, leadership diagnostics, psychometrics) to inform development planning, HiPo identification, and leadership readiness.
  • Operational Excellence

Manage end-to-end program logistics, communications, scheduling, and participant experience while maintaining governance, documentation, and process consistency.
  • Enterprise Collaboration

Partner with HRBPs, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, adoption, and seamless execution of talent development initiatives.
  • Analytics, Insights & Reporting

Use talent data to identify capability gaps, evaluate program effectiveness, assess bench strength, and deliver clear, actionable insights and dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Technology & Digital Enablement

Leverage HR technology, learning platforms, and talent systems to deliver, track, and scale programs while ensuring strong data integrity and user experience.

What you bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Master's Degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in talent management, learning & development, organizational development, or related HR functions is required with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Extensive knowledge of leadership development, assessments, succession planning programs & systems.
  • Experience leading multi-site and multi-national learning operations is preferred.


Work Location: Preference is for candidates to be within a commutable distance to one of our office locations in the greater Toronto, or Calgary areas. However, we recognize that the right talent can thrive from anywhere-fully remote candidates will be considered for the right fit.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 a year. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive program.
