Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and detail-oriented Manager, Talent Acquisition - Operations & Compliance to lead critical recruiting operations and ensure a seamless, compliant pre-onboarding experience. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence, regulatory adherence, and data-driven decision-making across the Talent Acquisition function.

This leader will partner cross-functionally while demonstrating strong business acumen, influencing skills, and a commitment to building trust and developing talent. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in recruiting operations and compliance, along with a passion for continuous improvement and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize the pre-onboarding process, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and candidate-centric experience from offer acceptance through start date
  • Oversee background screening processes via HireRight, ensuring timely completion, issue resolution, and adherence to service-level expectations
  • Manage the I-9 process, ensuring full compliance and audit readiness while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Talent Acquisition compliance, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and company requirements
  • Proactively identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous audit readiness
  • Develop and deliver executive-level dashboards and reporting, providing clear, actionable insights to influence decision-making
  • Analyze operational and compliance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage external vendor relationships (e.g., background screening providers), ensuring service excellence and accountability
  • Oversee vendor invoicing and budget management, ensuring accuracy, cost control, and alignment with financial objectives
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three, fostering a high-performance culture centered on accountability, growth, and collaboration
  • Ensure equitable workload distribution while supporting individual career development and engagement
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, and candidate experience
  • Lead and support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives, driving operational excellence across Talent Acquisition
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, Payroll, and Operations to ensure alignment and efficiency across onboarding and compliance processes
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Experience with ATS platforms (Oracle Recruiting Cloud preferred) and reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume hiring environment
  • Advanced Excel or data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Proven success driving process improvements and operational transformation initiatives
