We are seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition & Development to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the company's end-to-end recruitment strategy and building a scalable employee development framework that supports organizational growth. You will partner closely with the HR Manager and functional leaders to ensure the company attracts, hires, and develops top talent in alignment with business priorities. This role reports to the VP of Corporate and serves as a key cross-functional partner to HR, business leaders, and executive leadership.
This role will be based out of any of our offices (Houston, TX, Austin, TX, or Chicago, IL) and is subject to our Company's return-to-office policy which currently requires a minimum of three days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (End-to-End Ownership)
- Own and execute the full-cycle recruitment process across all functions and levels, from workforce planning through onboarding transition
- Partner with department leaders to define hiring needs, job profiles, and success criteria aligned to business goals
- Build and manage proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
- Establish consistent, high-quality candidate experience standards across all touchpoints
- Drive recruiting efficiency, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and cost optimization
- Manage external recruiting partners, agencies, and sourcing platforms as needed
- Oversee and develop the Talent Acquisition Associate to ensure operational excellence and scalability
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies
Employee Development & Training
- Design and implement a structured employee development framework across the organization
- Partner with leaders and HR to identify skill gaps and define development priorities
- Lead the creation of learning programs, including onboarding enhancements, leadership development, and role-based training
- Establish career pathing and growth frameworks to support retention and internal mobility
- Evaluate and manage external training vendors, content platforms, and learning tools
- Track and report on training effectiveness, engagement, and ROI
- Partner with HR to support performance management processes by providing development frameworks, tools, and guidance (performance ownership remains with HR)
Strategic Partnership & Operations
- Partner with the HR Manager to ensure alignment across recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle programs
- Collaborate with leadership to align hiring and development strategies with headcount planning and business objectives
- Develop and maintain recruiting and development metrics dashboards to drive data-informed decisions
- Establish scalable processes, tools, and documentation to support growth and operational consistency
- Contribute to employer branding and internal employee value proposition initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience across talent acquisition and/or talent development
- Proven experience leading full-cycle recruiting in a high-growth or dynamic environment
- Experience designing and implementing employee development or training programs
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and influence hiring and talent decisions
- 1-2 years of management experience
- Strong operational mindset with the ability to build scalable processes and track performance metrics
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Expertise with various HRIS, ATS, and learning management systems
- Experience supporting multi-location or hybrid work environments
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into actionable talent plans
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Proven ability to operate as a strategic partner to HR and business leadership
Compensation & Benefits
$130,000 - $150,000
This pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Jupiter Power considers a number of factors when determining starting compensation such as the position requirements and the candidate's qualifications.
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus and equity programs.
