The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to bring your expertise, knowledge and passion for talent acquisition to a dynamic educational community of leaders and learners. Reporting to the Head, Talent Management, the Manager, Talent Acquisition manages and leads the full recruitment and selection cycle school-wide. Applying school values and principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, the Manager partners with leaders from early planning stages through candidate selection and final onboarding. As a subject matter expert in full-cycle recruitment, the Manager provides strategic guidance to hiring managers, delivers an exceptional candidate experience, and leverages systems including the applicant tracking system (ADP Workforce Now) to optimize workflows and efficiency in securing top talent for the school.
Building strong relationships across the school, you will bring a creative, proactive approach to talent sourcing, and creating pipelines of external candidates for key positions at the school. As well, the Manager collaborates with the HR Coordinator on onboarding logistics, ensuring a seamless transition for employees joining the school.
While the Manager's primary focus is on full-cycle recruitment, as an integral member of the HR team, the Manager will also contribute to retention strategies, recruitment analytics and departmental strategic priorities. Acting as an ambassador for the school, Manager actively seeks opportunities to build Branksome Hall's employer brand recognition through networking, career fairs and events, and digital candidate engagement.
Candidate Profile:
As the ideal candidate, you have post-secondary training and approximately 5+ years of progressive full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably within an educational context. A CHRL designation would be considered an asset. With an innovator's mindset, you are at ease engaging and collaborating with a range of interestholders, building relationships, inspiring confidence, and sharing your expertise with colleagues. A strong team player, you are proactive, exercising sound judgment in managing complexity, while also supporting others in building their capacity. With strong experience managing and working with applicant tracking systems, you have proven success streamlining processes and workflows, while leveraging data to optimize systems and decision making.
You are committed to ensuring a strong candidate and employee experience, and you bring a positive, can-do approach to problem-solving. With strong technical skills you are proficient in the full Google suite, human resource information systems and MS office applications.

Target Hiring Range: $87,577 - $109,471
