The Opportunity:As the Manager, Systems Development, you will lead the Digital and Advisor DevOps team within our newly established Shared Services team. You will guide a high-performing team in delivering cloud-first solutions, advancing automation and DevOps practices, and providing the platforms, standards, and expertise that enable secure, scalable, and reliable solutions across the enterprise. Through technical leadership and continuous improvement, you will help teams innovate faster, deliver efficiently, and achieve operational excellence.
How you will create impact: - Formulating designs and solutions for a complex system or for integration with multiple systems, hardware platforms, and development environments.
- Developing productive working relationships with business and technology partners to align on solutions with the goal of automating everything from code commit to production
- Providing guidance and direction for day-to-day activities and guide the team through the planning of activities and assigning tasks for large and complex initiatives.
- Educating the team on the importance of implementing effective strategic tools and technologies and providing support on applications, technology, data integration, and system development.
- Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives.
To join our team: - You have seven years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
- You have a post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- You have expertise in IT solutions delivery and basic knowledge of insurance and financial reporting.

Expected salary range $91,058 - $141,000+
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
