Manager, Supply Chain Security

Full-Time (On-site)

Brampton, ON or Winnipeg, MB

The Manager, Supply Chain Security is responsible for creating or implementing supply chain security programs that meet CTPAT and PIP requirements, ensuring the company adheres to the security standards and procedures outlines by CTPAT and PIP, and assessing potential security risks within the supply chain and implement measures to mitigate them.

How You'll Help:
  • Lead and manage the company's participation in CTPAT and PIP programs.
  • Develop and maintain company's security profiles in partnership with our internal security team, annual reviews and required documentation in compliance with CBP and CBSA guidelines.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with CTPAT and PIP requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate instances of non-compliance, providing corrective action measures.
  • Liaise with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA), and other regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Liaise with the internal security team to coordinate training and awareness programs for relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to reflect evolving security regulations and best practices.
  • Manage the validation and revalidation process, including site visits and responding to government inquires.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (Procurement, Dedicated, Legal) to ensure alignment with compliance objectives.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership regarding program performance and improvement opportunities.


Your Skills & Experience:
  • Degree, diploma, or certification in Occupational Health and Safety, Supply Chain Security, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the transportation, logistics, customs brokerage, or supply chain industry.
  • Certification in HACCP and/or CTPAT/PIP is highly desirable.
  • Internal Auditor certification (e.g., RPM, COR) is considered an asset.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analyses, and comprehensive internal audits.
  • Strong knowledge of CTPAT and PIP security requirements and compliance standards.
  • Working knowledge of applicable Canadian and U.S. transportation, customs, and supply chain security regulations.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance and security management programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, AS400, web-based applications, and customs systems.
  • Experience in the customs brokerage industry is considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and training skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and champion business initiatives across the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
