Manager, Strategy Pricing & Interchange

About the Role
The team has two areas of focus:
• Economics Enablement: Enhance the pricing, commercialization, and go-to-market strategy of new and existing products
• Governance and Reporting: Drive pricing excellence and governance by creating consolidated views of all pricing activity across the Services business

The Manager, Strategy Pricing and Interchange (Services) is responsible for supporting activities within those two areas of focus. Specifically, this role will partner with a range of different global and regional product areas in Services to perform analysis into key areas of pricing and provide regional co-ordination of pricing initiatives and reporting.
The role will require the individual to apply analytical rigor, apply problem solving skills, understanding customer value and support the broader team in working on key analysis for pricing and economics initiatives. The role will collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure
Additionally, the creation of key materials for management presentation, critical economic drivers and impact on the Services business
They will also need to work closely with key stakeholders to collect and communicate information on key pricing and revenue generating initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Work with key global and regional stakeholders, including pricing committees, regional Network Services and regional product leads to drive consistency and alignment of pricing initiatives
• Coordinate monthly pricing pipeline updates with product and pricing teams at the global and regional levels
• Produce key KPI that connect internal and customer economics with revenue patterns, supported by analytics/modelling team
• Centralize the reporting of pricing initiatives as well as the 3Y pricing forecast for Services
• Facilitate and manage the development and periodic refresh of the Pricing Insights tools, in collaboration with the Insights & Enablement team.
• Partner with regions and other team members to produce key presentation materials and support on pricing and economic initiatives as needed
• Become a SME for internal data sources including drivers, billing, and product reporting
• Parter with team members and product managers to develop and maintain a product catalog inclusive of pricing
• Lead the alignment of the pricing implementation pipeline, in collaboration with the Billing Team
• Lead the alignment of the announcements pipeline, in collaboration with the CS&D Team
• Ensure pricing sponsors are maintaining accurate records in SalesForce

All About You
• BA/BSC, (MBA a plus), with previous experience in at least one of the following areas: strategy, consulting, finance, economics, or pricing
• The ideal candidate is fast-paced and highly analytical who demonstrates business acumen and thought leadership to deliver results within a global, growing, and profitable business
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint) in data compilation, aggregation and modeling is required
• A team player with the ability to communicate effectively and develop solid working relationships across multiple levels and organizational boundaries is required

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
