OverviewJob Purpose
The Strategy & Operations Manager is a key role spanning strategy, operations, and execution across NYSE's Listings, Capital Markets, and ETF businesses. This role oversees platform administration, reporting infrastructure, and operational workflows across Global Listings -responsible for building, standardizing, and continuously improving how these teams operate. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-oriented, with the ability to identify operational gaps, develop scalable solutions, and drive implementation across teams.
Responsibilities
- Systems, Strategy & Process Improvement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Global Listings system administration, including user management, reporting, and coordination with ICE/NYSE technology teams.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure to provide leadership with real-time visibility into pipeline health, deal activity, KPIs, and team performance.
- Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures for key business functions, including deal execution, pipeline management, and issuer onboarding.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, system integrations, and automation opportunities to improve data quality, reduce manual effort, and support scalable growth.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives that improve issuer engagement, reporting accuracy, and operational execution.
- Billing & Revenue Operations
- In coordination with the billing department, manage the annual and continued listing fee billing process for equities and exchange-traded products.
- Track and reconcile billing activity across exchanges, ensuring accuracy, timely invoicing, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Serve as a resource for issuer inquiries on fee structures, billing processes, and fee-related communications, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as an operational hub connecting Listings, Capital Markets, and ETF teams, ensuring alignment on shared workflows, data standards, and reporting cadences.
- Build and maintain internal documentation, training materials, and playbooks that codify institutional knowledge and accelerate new hire onboarding.
- Champion adoption of tools and processes across teams, driving consistent usage and data hygiene.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and improve data capture.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, business analysis, or project management.
- Demonstrated experience managing CRM platforms (Salesforce strongly preferred) and project management tools (Monday.com or equivalent).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and operational recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with NYSE listing rules, ETF market structure, and exchange operations.
- Self-directed and process-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive solutions across teams.
New York Base SalaryRange
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $120,000 6 $160,000 USD.The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchanges incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
