Summary

The Position:
This Supply Chain Management role will support the end to end materials 'Must Win' quoting process for strategic customer bids. This encompasses product data review & setup, sourcing strategy development, BOM Sourcing & Pricing and Proposal Development, supporting key market segments in the ATS division.

Detailed Description

  • Works with internal and external customers to resolve product data integrity issues
  • Work closely with business development, supply chain directors, commodity management & sourcing teams to develop and deploy effective sourcing strategies
  • Deliver competitive and timely material pricing solutions
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives


Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Ability to interpret & analyze technical product data at both component and assembly level (electronic & mechanical), and summarize any gaps in information required for quoting
  • Demonstrate ability to use web platforms to pull commercial & technical info for electronics components
  • Ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze costing and pricing data
  • Ability to analyze financial data and understand the impact of material costs on project profitability
  • Demonstrate understanding of how an EMS supply chain works and key commodity cost drivers
  • Demonstrate awareness of supplier pricing and strategies
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable outcomes for Celestica
  • Demonstrate strong systems skills, including common office platforms such as MS Office (proficiency in Excel, Power point) and Celestica-specific tools such as Quote App, Scavenger, SAP, PowerBI, Matrix, IHS etc.

Salary Expectation and Benefits Summary

The salary range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including by not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate. Salary Range: $90k-$120k Annually
