Job Overview This role leads the design, development, and maintenance of key products and supporting technology infrastructure in an Agile environment. It manages teams of product managers, software developers, architects, and technical staff to deliver product and engineering outcomes. The role includes responsibility for attracting, hiring, and retaining a skilled full stack team to support product and platform goals. Success is measured by timely delivery of product features, team performance, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The work impacts organizational capabilities by ensuring reliable product functionality and fostering productive relationships with customers and partners. This role requires experience in designing and implementing authentication solutions for mobile applications, as well as delivering contextual onboarding and home screen experiences. The candidate should have hands-on expertise with AEM and MoEngage (MoE) tools, and a proven track record of supporting large-scale mobile apps with millions of daily active users. Job Responsibilities: - Manage and develop a software engineering team to deliver projects on time and within budget through coaching and performance management - Drive improvements in development practices, including team structure, processes, tooling, security, and compliance to enhance efficiency - Oversee technical vendor relationships to influence product features and ensure alignment with technical requirements - Recruit and onboard qualified team members to strengthen team capabilities and support project demands - Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed Education and Work Experience: - Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required) - Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or in a computer programming related field. (Required) - 4-7 years Experience in an Analytics and Business Intelligence development environment. (Required) - Less than 2 years Experience in managing or supervising a team of 15 developers or more. (Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: (Required) - Agile Methodologies: Knowledge in software with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools. - Technical Writing: Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences. - Agile: Knowledge of the overall execution relating to all aspects of an agile development team, from defining the strategy and architecture through deployment and support. - Agile Project Management: Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools. - Technology: Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives. - Communication: Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence. - Collaboration: Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest. - Business Analysis: Strong analytical skills with ability to identify/analyze/ synthesize product use data. - Technical Writing: Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
