Full Job Description
Position Description:

The Learning Supervisor is responsible for leading the site learning team to define, create, manage and maintain the learning program to improve organizational capabilities in partnership with site leadership and subject matter experts and to ensure compliance. This role will provide direct management to the learning team as well as serve as learning program owner for the site.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

Learning Program Ownership
  • Implement harmonized processes for compliance across the manufacturing sites.
  • Ensure audit readiness and participate in audits to support.
  • Establish process to ensure changes to global procedures and processes are appropriately reflected in the learning content.
  • Owner of Frontline Leader program implementation for the site.
  • Implement effective training program for all course instructors.
  • Provide direction (dotted-line reporting) to Operations Training Coordinator roles to ensure alignment of responsibilities and outcomes.
  • Implement digital solutions to improve learning outcomes and/or process efficiencies
  • Influence culture of continuous learning at the site.
  • Ensure effective and efficient New Employee Orientation program is delivered consistently with MQ expectations.
  • Collaborate with Learning Architects within the manufacturing network to drive continuous improvement, harmonization and share best practices.
  • undefinedAdvanced Content Development and FacilitationEnsure appropriate needs analysis processes are utilized to build effective learning strategies for the functional teams.Utilize instructional design concepts and adult learning theory to create learning materials to ensure optimal competency and knowledge retention.Build appropriate curricula design and content to enable appropriate assignment to accelerate time to competency for learners.Ensure functional teams have a point of contact on the learning team.Facilitate training sessions. Monitoring & GovernanceParticipate in DRB and CCB to advise on appropriate training actions and identify program improvements as neededParticipate in daily site huddle meetings and site lead team meetings at the appropriate frequency.Establish meaningful learning metrics to drive process improvements and resource optimization.Implement Gemba walks for OJT trainers and participate in site Gemba walks.Attend site metrics review and provide evaluation of data for improvement of site performance.Lead learning self-inspection program at site and participate in other site self-inspections. Team ManagementProvide supervision to site learning resources to prioritize work and ensure effective outcomes.Actively coach team for performance.Manage and approve any non-critical deviations, observations and CAPAs for the team if required, and ensure appropriate escalation of significant quality issues.

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • System proficiency in Success Factors
  • Experience with manufacturing L&D administration activities
  • Document controller in Veeva QDOCS
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge of cGMPs and experience working in a GMP regulated environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of operational excellence fundamentals
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with others - team and business partners
  • Proficiency in MS Office
