Job DescriptionKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead the monthly SIOP cycle including demand review, supply review, and executive consensus.
- Develop and maintain dynamic capacity models for tube mill operations incorporating:
- Machine capabilities and limitations
- Labor models (direct, indirect, skilled trades)
- Raw material lead times
- Preventative maintenance downtime
- Partner with commercial teams to translate demand signals into actionable manufacturing and procurement plans.
- Build scenario-based models to support:
- New customer/program onboarding
- Aerospace certification ramp-up
- Capital investment timing
- Long-range hiring plans
- Provide regular reporting and KPI tracking (capacity utilization, OTIF, backlog, etc.)
- Identify potential risks and constraints early, develop mitigation plans.
- Serve as the key liaison between site teams and Corporate on volume forecasting and budget planning.
- Support Lean manufacturing efforts by improving flow and load balancing across operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, SIOP, or capacity planning (tube mill or metal forming experience strongly preferred).
- Experience supporting high-mix, multi-market manufacturing environments (Automotive, Aerospace preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel, ERP, and capacity modeling capabilities.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
- APICS or CPIM certification strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and capacity optimization.

- Understands and completes necessary health & safety training through Samuel's Safety Training program 24/7 and ensures renewal training is completed as per company requirements.

The expected compensation range for this position is $99,920/yr- $137,390/yr. This range includes base pay and target variable pay. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We also consider internal equity to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. This range reflects the expected full compensation range for the role; most offers will fall within the range and not at the maximum in order to allow for future growth.
