COMPENSATION: $95,000 - $120,000/yr + commission earnings
Role Summary :
The
Manager, Sales will play a key role in leading Clarapath's sales efforts and driving revenue growth for Clarapath's advanced SectionStar• and TrimStar Pro• platforms. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Working closely with business development, marketing, and customer-facing teams, the Manager, Sales will help build a strong sales pipeline, develop strategic customer relationships, and drive successful adoption of Clarapath's innovative laboratory automation solutions across the pathology, healthcare, and life sciences industries. We are seeking a motivated, strategic, and results-oriented sales leader who enjoys building relationships, developing talent, and navigating complex sales opportunities. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of consultative sales, is comfortable communicating complex technology to a variety of stakeholders, thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and is excited about representing innovative medical technology that is transforming laboratory workflows and improving patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, and handoff to customer-facing teams
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within target markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, challenges, and purchasing processes
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings
- Effectively communicate the value proposition and applications of SectionStar• and TrimStar Pro•
- Maintain an accurate and well-managed sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting and activity updates
- Work closely with the Sales Development Representative(s) to develop qualified leads and opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation, campaigns, messaging, events, and market development initiatives
- Partner with engineering, product, service, and other internal teams to address customer needs and support successful sales opportunities
- Develop proposals, presentations, pricing discussions, and other materials required to advance opportunities
- Negotiate commercial terms and work toward successful contract execution
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and developments within pathology and laboratory automation
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and other business development events as needed
- Track sales performance, pipeline activity, conversion metrics, and other key performance indicators
- Provide market and customer feedback to leadership and internal teams to help inform business and product strategies
- Support the development of sales processes, tools, and best practices as Clarapath continues to grow
- Coach and support junior sales and business development team members as needed
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably in medical technology, healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory equipment, life sciences, or a related industry
- Demonstrated success managing complex B2B sales cycles
- Experience selling technical products or solutions to multiple stakeholders
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines, opportunities, and sales activity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other business development activities as needed
- Experience working with healthcare systems, pathology laboratories, or other clinical/laboratory environments, a plus
