Job Description:Manager, RN Quality & OutcomesLocation: South Overland Park, KS
Shift: M - F, 8:00 am -5:00 pm
No weekends
Key Responsibilities:- Provides high-level leadership and collaboration with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Effectively coordinates patient safety initiatives and safety culture activities, such as safety culture survey and unit culture projects.
- Participates with leaders and medical staff in planning, promoting, and facilitating organization-wide performance improvement and quality outcomes activities.
- Facilitates meetings and projects effectively, producing measurable results.
- Creates a positive environment that fosters innovation and change.
- Ensures accuracy of data collection and submission.
- Collects, aggregates, analyzes, summarizes and reports quality data for hospital organizational performance.
- Recommends and facilitates process changes based on identified risks. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Windows, typing/word processing [Required]
- Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office Products, particularly Excel [Required]
- Proficient in PowerBI [Required]

Education:- Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
- Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:- Health sciences, healthcare administration, communications, business, or marketing
- Particularly in Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration
Work Experience:- 5+ years experience [Required]
- Experience with computers and EMR systems [Preferred]
- Healthcare operations experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR
- Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact - RN (ENLC-RN) [Required]
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) [Preferred]
