Your day will revolve around reviewing proposals and contract documents, analyzing potential risks, and developing strategies to handle them effectively. You will leverage your expertise in contractual terms to ensure alignment with the organization's risk tolerance, bridging gaps between contractual obligations and practical risk management. This is a strategic position aimed at proactively addressing risk concerns through negotiation and collaboration.

Enough about us, let's talk about youYou are someone with these required skills, experience and qualifications:
- Proven expertise in handling complex contractual terms and managing associated risks.
- Ability to assess risks in client agreements and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- At least 10 years of experience in contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with Canadian standards, industry norms, and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership in conducting contract negotiations and achieving acceptable risk levels.
- Skills to simplify complex terms and risks for clear understanding by stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reviewing and revising agreements to align with organizational risk tolerance.
- Capability to build trustful relationships with internal and external partners.

- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while juggling multiple priorities.
- Ability to take on ad hoc responsiblities as required
- Strong communication skills to articulate and advocate for risk positions.
- Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
