As Manager, Fraud Reporting & Insights, you will act as a strategic partner to Fraud leadership and business stakeholders by transforming complex case-level data from multiple source systems into meaningful reporting and actionable insights.

Working across FRM, Technology, Analytics, and business partners, you will lead the evolution of reporting capabilities, data strategy and governance practices, and management information frameworks, using analytical storytelling to deliver a single, trusted view of fraud performance and risk across Sun Life Canada.

  • Produce and oversee recurring fraud reporting, executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics for senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Act as the primary triage and coordination point for reporting requests, managing priorities, stakeholder expectations, and delivery timelines.

  • Track, prioritize, and facilitate resolution of open reporting enhancement requests, ensuring alignment with FRM strategic objectives.

  • Establish and maintain data dictionaries, metric definitions, and reporting standards to support a single source of truth across fraud risk management.

  • Analyze fraud trends, operational performance indicators, emerging risks, and business impacts to identify meaningful insights and opportunities for action.

  • Translate detailed fraud case activity and operational data into concise, executive-level reporting and recommendations that support decision making.

  • Support fraud governance forums, leadership discussions, reporting reviews, and executive package development through analysis, commentary, and presentation materials.

  • Partner with Technology, Data, and Business teams to improve data quality, reporting automation, and overall reporting maturity.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and emerging risks within complex datasets.

  • Ability to translate technical information and detailed operational data into clear, meaningful business insights for diverse audiences.

  • Strong reporting and data storytelling capabilities, including development of executive-level dashboards, presentations, and management reporting.

  • Experience developing reporting frameworks, performance metrics, governance processes, and operational reporting standards.

  • Strong partnership, networking, and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and balance concurrent reporting, analytical, and business support activities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Assets:

  • Experience developing operational reporting, executive dashboards, scorecards, or management information programs.

  • Knowledge of fraud operations, fraud typologies, fraud controls, and fraud risk management practices.

  • Experience working with reporting and analytics tools, data visualization platforms, and business intelligence solutions.

  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, including the ability to synthesize information from multiple source systems.

  • Experience driving reporting automation, process optimization, and reporting improvements.

  • Background in stakeholder engagement, business enablement, or advisory functions.
