Cohesity is seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Revenue Accounting and Reporting Manager to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be a key player in our revenue operations, ensuring strict compliance with ASC 606 while driving technical and process innovation. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in software revenue recognition, advanced mastery of NetSuite's Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module, and a passion for leveraging modern data tools and AI to automate workflows. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, lead audit support, and turn large datasets into actionable financial insights.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Month-End & Quarter-End Close: Support the revenue close process by performing critical system validations, reconciliations, and SOX controls testing to ensure financial integrity.
  • System Ownership (NetSuite ARM): Serve as the hands-on functional expert for NetSuite ARM. Oversee revenue arrangements, plans, and events, ensuring the system accurately reflects contract terms and accounting policies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze large, complex financial datasets to identify trends, variances, and anomalies. Build and maintain dynamic dashboards using Tableau and other BI reporting tools for revenue footnote disclosures and other internal revenue reporting needs.
  • AI & Process Automation: Actively identify manual bottlenecks within the revenue workflow and implement AI tools and automation to streamline data extraction, contract review, and routine validations.
  • Audit Support: Support the team with external and internal audits, preparing comprehensive revenue schedules, walk-throughs, and PBC (Provided by Client) requests.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Lead and support strategic finance initiatives, including system upgrades, process improvements, and M&A integration.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of revenue accounting experience, specifically within the software/SaaS industry.
  • Solid, demonstrable understanding of ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers).
  • Advanced, hands-on experience with NetSuite ARM is strictly required.
  • Advanced Excel Skills and Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability or strong aptitude to effectively utilize AI tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize large volumes of data into clear, accurate conclusions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$158,400.00-$176,000.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

In-Office Expectations

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
