Job Summary:

The Manager of Reporting and Analysis is an individual contributor responsible for providing analytical support to Marriott's PLUS Services, Above Property Rooms Control (APRC) and Signature Services organizations. The Manager of Reporting and Analysis develops automated dashboards and comprehensive reports that enable stakeholders to track key performance metrics, evaluate the effectiveness of revenue strategies, and deliver actionable insights that inform decision-making. Working closely with leadership and other stakeholders, this role ensures that existing reporting is maintained, as well as new reporting is developed.

Candidate Profile:

Education and Experience
• 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration or quantitative discipline; 4 years' experience in revenue management analysis, marketing analysis, sales management, financial analysis or a related discipline.

OR
• 2-year graduate degree from an accredited university in Business Administration or quantitative discipline; 2 years' experience in revenue management analysis, marketing analysis, sales management, financial analysis, quantitative data analysis or a related discipline.
• Prior exposure to Marriott's revenue management systems and principles is highly beneficial.
  • Proactive, curious and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to approach complex problems analytically and generate innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, visualization tools, especially platforms like PowerBI, Fabric, and/or Tableau.
  • Microsoft Excel & Power Platform (complex spreadsheets, VBA, Power Query).
  • Experience with programming languages (SQL or similar and Python) to extract and manipulate large datasets is a strong advantage.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting platforms.
  • Learn and apply revenue management concepts, metrics, and systems to progressively build analytical independence.
  • Capable of independently handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on delivering results in an efficient, structured manner.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to explain complex analyses in a clear, concise manner to non-technical audiences and craft persuasive presentations for senior leadership, translating data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., RMAS colleagues, hotel leaders, and corporate discipline partners) and to influence others without direct authority to drive alignment on revenue initiatives.
  • Continuously learning and staying up to date on industry tools and best practices in analytics and revenue management to improve business outcomes.


Expected Contributions:
  • Design, enhance, and automate revenue performance reports and dashboards using enterprise business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI, Fabric, Excel, Tableau) to provide the portfolio and hotel teams with timely and accurate visibility into key metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting platforms.
  • Extract and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, and produce insightful analysis of hotel and portfolio-level performance that guides strategy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with portfolio leaders and other revenue management stakeholders to support the development and execution of tools that enable stakeholders to execute long-range revenue strategies and initiatives that optimize hotel performance.
  • Partner with senior leadership to translate analytical findings into strategic action plans and to establish measurement standards for revenue success.
  • Communicate results and insights clearly and in a timely manner to a variety of stakeholders, including PLUS Services, Above Property Rooms Control (APRC) and Signature Services leaders, associates, and cross-functional partners in Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Prepare executive-ready reports and presentations that translate complex analysis into clear, concise insights to inform decision-making and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate existing reporting processes, leveraging technology and analytics to drive efficiently.
  • Continuously seek innovative ways to enhance revenue analysis techniques and tools, challenging existing processes to improve accuracy, speed, and relevance of insights.
  • Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests and data inquiries from leaders and hotel teams, delivering prompt support and expert insights to address emerging business questions and solve complex revenue management problems.
