About the Job

This PFT Manager position is Full Time- 40 hours a week-
Responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of all staff in the Pulmonary Function Laboratories which provides testing at the main building, King of Prussia, Voorhees and all outpatient pulmonary physician practices, to achieve excellent patient and family experience and clinical outcomes. Demonstrates knowledge of the Health Care Environment. This includes setting of standards, development of systems, supervision of practice and employees, coordination of other disciplines and departments to achieve the mission and goals of the department and enterprise.

  • Clinical Operations
    • Assumes twenty-four hour accountability for department operations, to ensure care is equitable, timely, effective, efficient and safe.
    • Ensures optimal patient and family experience
    • Recruits, mentors and retains engaged staff
    • Maintains collaborative partnerships with all disciplines
    • Foster an environment that utilizes evidence based practice and research to adopt and implement innovative care practices
    • Creates a culture of safety that promotes team building and relationships.
    • Maintains environment and ensures compliance with all regulatory standards
    • Participates in planning for research activities required to be performed in laboratories
  • Business Acumen
    • Financial Management
    • Develops and manages annual operating budget for unit, managing financial resources to budget and educating team on financial implications of patient care decisions
    • Human Resources Management
    • Ensuring participation in educational programs to foster goal attainment to organization initiatives, competencies and harm prevention.
    • Strategic Management
    • Creates the operational objectives, goals, and specific strategies required to achieve strategic outcome.
    • Information Management and Technology
    • Use technology to support improvement of clinical and financial performance; identify technology trends, issues and new developments as they apply to patient care.


Education
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred


Experience
  • At least five (5) years experience in the field of pulmonary function testing. Required
  • At least three (3) years experience in the care of neonatal/pediatric patients. Preferred
  • At least four (4) years supervisory/leadership experience Required
  • Licenses/Certifications
  • Respiratory Therapist (Pennsylvania)- Pennsylvania State Licensing Board upon hire Required OR
  • Osteopathic Respiratory Therapist (Pennsylvania) Pennsylvania State Licensing Board upon hire Required AND
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire Required and
  • Registered Pulmonary Function Tech (RPFT) National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire Required

SALARY RANGE:

$98,820.00 - $126,000.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.

This job is eligible for an incentive program.
