Join Our Corrosion Service Team!We are seeking an experienced and people-focused leader to guide our Corrosion Service Project Management Team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of project managers and technical professionals while driving operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Working closely with clients, senior leadership, and multidisciplinary technical teams, you will provide strategic direction, foster collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of corrosion management and asset integrity programs that protect essential infrastructure and the communities that depend on it.

Leadership, Team Development & Operational Excellence- Lead, mentor, and develop the Corrosion Service Project Management Team, creating an environment that supports professional growth, accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Directly manage and coach project managers.
- Establish clear team goals, performance expectations, and development plans while fostering continuous learning and skills advancement.
- Build and maintain a positive, engaged, and results-oriented team culture focused on safety, quality, and client success.
- Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation, and team capacity across multiple concurrent projects to support business objectives and growth.
- Establish and strengthen leadership practices, employee engagement, and organizational development programs.
- Ensure team members maintain competencies, and training in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, including optimization, and ongoing enhancement of project management practices and systems.
Strategic Project Leadership & Technical Oversight- Provide leadership and direction to project team.
- Oversee project managers to ensure consistent project execution and high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and governance practices that support successful project outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration among internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to address competing priorities and optimize project delivery.
- Guide teams through complex technical challenges, providing support, escalation management, and decision-making expertise.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements and client expectations.
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement through effective project reviews and quality assurance practices.
Client Leadership & Business Growth- Serve as a senior advisor and trusted partner to clients.
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships through exceptional service, strategic guidance, and proactive communication.
- Partner with clients to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support business growth through proposal development, scope definition, cost estimating, contract negotiations, and client engagement activities.
Financial & Resource Leadership- Oversee project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost management, and profitability.
- Provide strategic input into resource planning and organizational capacity forecasting.
- Monitor project expenditures, timesheets, and operational metrics to support business objectives and informed decision-making.
- Support contract development and project scoping activities to ensure successful execution and financial alignment.
Governance, Continuous Improvement & Organizational Leadership- Lead the development and implementation of project management standards, procedures, and training programs within the company's ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System.
- Promote consistency, accountability, and best practices across teams and business units.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance team effectiveness, client satisfaction, and organizational performance.
Qualifications- Proven experience leading and developing project management teams.
- Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience managing project managers.
- 7+ years of progressive project management experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, industrial services, supply chain, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success building, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams while fostering a strong culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Post-secondary education in engineering (electrical, mechanical, materials, chemical, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects, competing priorities, and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost estimating, and contract management.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement practices.
- Professional designation such as P.Eng., CET, or AMPP/NACE certification is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term client relationships and contribute to business growth.
