We are currently seeking a Manager of Project Management at ICON Plc to join our diverse and dynamic team. As the Manager of Project Management, you will be responsible for the overall direction and management of projects through designated project managers. Your primary focus will be to ensure consistency with corporate strategy, processes across projects, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Your role involves providing day-to-day technical oversight to the Project Management function, inspiring and guiding your team, and playing a pivotal role in the successful execution of regionally assigned programs and projects.

What you will be doing:
  • Oversight: Direct and provide day-to-day technical oversight to the Project Management function, ensuring adherence to best practices and project success.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor the project management team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Inspire and Lead with a Clear Vision Develop and communicate a clear vision for the department and the organization, inspiring team members to work towards common goals.
  • Accountability: Accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and successful completion of all regionally assigned programs and projects.
  • Project Tracking and Reporting: Ensure alignment of projects with the company's strategy, commitments, and goals, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project efficiency, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and address project-related challenges, implementing solutions to achieve project milestones and objectives.
  • Partnership: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze project performance data, generate reports, and present project status updates to senior management.
  • Drive InNvations: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and inNvations in project management, implementing relevant improvements within the organization.


Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven in-depth experience working in a clinical laboratory within a CRO, Biopharmaceutical company, or related organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a Project Manager, overseeing phase II & III studies.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior experience in mentoring, supervising, or leading teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Passionate about advancing healthcare and contributing to the success of clinical research.
  • Adherence to high ethical standards, promoting a culture of integrity and excellence.

Salary range: $110,520.00-$138,150.00
