BlackLine is seeking an operational leader to manage project staffing and consultant allocation within our Resource Management Center (RMC). In this role, you will lead a team of implementation consultants to optimize billable utilization, align expertise with customer demand, and ensure seamless delivery execution across client engagements.
You'll Get To:- People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of implementation consultants, establishing high standards for operational excellence and request fulfillment.
- End-to-End Staffing: Direct the full allocation lifecycle from request intake to confirmed booking proactively resolving scheduling bottlenecks and competing priorities.
- System & Data Governance: Own data integrity in Salesforce Certinia (PSA), overseeing project allocations, bench visibility, skills matrix, and forward looking capacity forecasts.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the primary liaison for Portfolio Leaders, Implementation Managers and Engagement Managers, ensuring talent alignment with project scope, milestones, and client commitments.
- Operational Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and present key operational metrics including consultant utilization, supply vs demand trends, and forecast variance.
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine resource request workflows, tooling, and governance to improve operational velocity, transparency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
What You'll Bring:- Professional Experience: 5+ years in professional services operations, resource management, or project staffing; 3-5+ years in a direct people management or team lead capacity preferred.
- Systems Expertise: Hands on proficiency with Salesforce Certinia is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of enterprise SaaS delivery models familiarity with BlackLine products or accounting platform/finance workflows is a strong plus.
- Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to resolve complex scheduling conflicts and manage high volume, matrixed staffing demands.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong leadership presence, analytical problem solving skills, and the ability to influence cross functional delivery partners.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Salary Range:$98,000.00-$123,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location.
In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.

For roles that include variable incentive components such as an Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) or On-Target Earnings (OTE), the compensation structure may follow a split model - for example, a 50/50, 70/30, or 60/40 ratio between base salary and variable incentive.
