About this opportunityThe Line Manager, Radio Performance Systems leads the Radio Performance System section within the Radio Products Canada (RPCA) unit. This is a full line management role with accountability for people, ways of working, and operational performance of the organization. The role ensures that system design capabilities - including performance of systems, methods, and deliverables - enable high-quality, efficient product development and integration across the full product lifecycle. This is an experienced-level position based in Canada.
What you will do- Execute the line manager role, including accountability for the performance, growth, and well-being of all team members
- Translate strategy and program needs into clear objectives and priorities for the Radio Performance System Design organization
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture
- Identify competence needs and drive systematic skill-building and succession planning
- Manage workforce planning - including recruitment, rotations, sourcing, and offboarding
- Establish and maintain robust system design practices covering requirements breakdown, system architecture, interface design, and end-to-end performance
- Ensure system design artifacts are consistent, reusable, and maintainable
- Drive continuous improvement in system design tools, methods, and automation
- Represent the RPCA Radio Performance System Design organization in program and portfolio forums
- Monitor delivery performance and implement corrective actions as needed
- Serve as the primary escalation point for radio performance system design topics
- Promote knowledge sharing and reuse of solutions and best practices across teams and sites
- Ensure compliance with applicable directives, quality, information security, and health & safety requirements

Your PayThe salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is $136,000 - $178,500
Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
