As a Manager of Product Management, your primary responsibility will be to help shape the future of our cutting-edge platform solutions by guiding team execution and aligning cross-functional strategies. Specifically, your focus will be to:
- Directly manage a team of Product Managers with responsibility for coaching, mentoring, and supporting them in scoping work and prioritizing tasks
- Mentor your PMs and help grow their skills, identify growth areas, set expectations and provide feedback
- Lead cross-team collaboration with Product, Engineering, and UX for product planning, prioritization, development, launch and on-going enhancements that balance responsiveness to customer needs with strategic market impact.
- Work with executive leadership, product, and engineering teams to develop product plans aligned with market requirements and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with customers and cloud ecosystem partners, leveraging market research to develop functional and technical requirements in partnership with engineering.
- Encourage data-driven product decisions by leveraging utilization metrics, user feedback, and customer partnerships.
- Work with product and marketing leadership to develop content, messaging, and competitive positioning based on solid value propositions.
- Integrate AI into day-to-day product management practices to increase efficiency, insight, and customer value.
The skills and qualities you'll bring include- 7+ years of experience in product management roles with a demonstrated track record of shipping meaningful product in complex or ambiguous environments preferably within Cyber Security or an AI driven SDLC. With 3+ years experience in product team leadership
- AI Fluency - Demonstrate the ability to select and use AI appropriately to solve problems, make better decisions, and increase productivity and and foster these practices across your team
- Previous experience in managing engaged and high performing Product Management teams with a track record in developing and mentoring PMs at all levels
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to drive that throughout your teams, solid understanding of customer needs, and integration of this customer impact into your team's everyday decision making
- You hold yourself and your team responsible for driving outcomes and owning both successes and failures.
- You think big but act small, helping your PMs break down massive visions into actionable, high-impact components.
- Establish clear credibility and the ability to build trust fast with engineering, design, data, and senior stakeholders.
- Formulate a strong point of view and clear opinions about what good product looks like, using crisp communication skills to land them and foster commitment from others.
- Display professional resilience and immense comfort working through organizational change, turning restructures or pivots into opportunities to come out sharper and focused forward.
- Make efficient, transparent decisions that resolve roadmap challenges and maintain development momentum.
- Build a strong global network and work across boundaries to deliver sustainable improvements that create business value.
