Job Summary

Become a driving force in the transformation of our product experience and join Optimum to help craft the next chapter of product-led growth. As a Manager reporting to the Director of Product Analytics, this role is pivotal in refining our approach to driving product decisions and roadmap strategy. You'll conduct robust analytics and drive insights supporting our Product team, dive deep into data, and develop visualization solutions that immediately impact the business.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with cross-functional teams to become a subject matter expert and support tactical and strategic Product decisions.
  • Lead key analytics projects, conducting advanced data analysis using Python, Google Big Query, and other analytical tools.
  • Present complex data and insights in a clear, concise manner to executive leadership, aiding in data-driven decision-making.
  • Quickly surface key product performance drivers for business leaders, from top-line metrics to granular feature-level insights where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities to use data to develop new product strategies, improve customer experience, and support growth as the product evolves.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in product analyses.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in product strategy, analytics, or a related field; experience in the telecommunications/mobile or subscription-based industry is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience mining large data sets
  • Proficiency in SQL, Google Big Query, and other analytical tools; experience with automation tools and techniques is highly desirable; experience with a scripting language, such as Python or R and familiarity with statistical packages is a plus
  • Solid understanding of statistical inference, experimental design, and analytic bias
  • Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Experience supporting product or business reviews such as Monthly or Quarterly Business Reviews and leadership meetings with visual or analytical support
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills with a curiosity for understanding customer behavior and product performance
  • Ability to quickly identify product problems and opportunities through data
  • Solution-oriented mindset able to ideate, own, and manage innovative data solutions that can be leveraged for future product strategies
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; capability to document, prepare, and present data-driven presentations

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $143,942.00 - $236,477.00 / year.
