Full Job Description
Manager of Prior Authorization & Preregistration who is passionate about making a difference in patients' lives every day. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee our patient access and intake functions, ensuring that patients receive the financial and medical clearance they need for life-changing treatments. You'll lead a dedicated team responsible for centralized scheduling, financial counseling, copay assistance, and prior authorization-creating a seamless experience that impacts our patients from day one.

About the Role
The Manager of Prior Authorization & Preregistration is responsible for leading and optimizing the patient access and intake functions at IVX Health. This role ensures that patients are financially and medically cleared for treatment, managing processes such as centralized scheduling, financial counseling, copay assistance, and prior authorization. You'll work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline onboarding, resolve issues, and provide a superior patient experience. Additionally, you will mentor and develop team members, support new market launches, and oversee performance metrics to continually enhance the intake process.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and mentor the intake and prior authorization teams, ensuring an outstanding patient onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and national teams to drive process improvements and resolve issues effectively.
  • Play a strategic role in onboarding new markets, working with leadership to develop a clear roadmap for success.
  • Oversee training and development efforts to ensure your team is fully equipped to excel.
  • Develop, review, and maintain intake processes, language, and training materials, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Track performance, identify potential issues, and ensure that patient access functions run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Conduct market and legislative research to stay ahead of trends and regulations in patient access and healthcare delivery.
  • Manage and lead department-specific projects that support overall business goals.


ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Management or related field
  • At least five (5) years of experience working in a health care organization with a specific background in operations and intake processes
  • Extensive experience with patient intake, prior authorization and financial counseling preferred


Pay is based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and is benchmarked against similar organizations in our size and industry. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted range, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular employees are eligible for commissions/bonus,401(k), health benefits, and other company-provided benefits.
