Location: South Shore Montreal

The Role: As a member of our Strategy, Advisor & Client Experience team at IGM, you will be joining a highly collaborative group with experience in and passion for delivering innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees using the latest technology and insights.

This role focuses on delivering hands-on training and front-line support to advisors and their teams on Digital Advisor Platform applications, with the primary goal of improving practice productivity, efficiency, and client experience through effective technology adoption. As part of the Practice Technology team, the Manager, Practice Technology (MPT) acts as a trusted partner to the field-working closely with advisors, Regional leadership, and internal business partners to translate digital capabilities into practical, everyday workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on training, coaching, and front-line support to advisors and their teams on Digital Advisor Platform applications to drive strong adoption, productivity, and an enhanced client experience.
  • Act as a trusted technology partner to advisors and regional leadership by translating digital tools and features into practical, day-to-day workflows tailored to individual practices.
  • Provide proactive enablement through targeted coaching sessions, regional training, and onboarding support for new advisors and teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing field feedback, identifying adoption challenges, and collaborating with internal partners to inform digital enhancements and readiness activities.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with advisors, regional teams, and internal stakeholders to support change management and evolving business priorities.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking, documentation, and reporting to support visibility, accountability, and ongoing optimization of support.


Required Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience in business, technology, training, financial services, or a related field.
  • Experience delivering training, coaching, or enablement in a professional, client-facing, or field-based environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital tools, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence delivering one-on-one, small group, and regional training.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and advisor-focused mindset.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, document activities, and follow through consistently.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or a regulated business environment.
  • Experience supporting technology adoption, change management, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Bilingual (English/French) capabilities considered an asset.


*Digital Advisor Platform applications include Advisor Portal (Salesforce), Tableau, Online Access (Client Portal), Digital Forms (Salesforce/DocuSign), Citrix, Transact, Living Plan Portal (Conquest Planning), Investment Portal (CapIntel), ClearEstate, interVal, Life Design Analysis, nesto, MS365, IG University Campus (SAP Success Factors), social selling applications, plus other applications added to the DAP in future. (Note: LPP training will be limited to non-planning support, including LPP plan setup and report generation).

Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and Team members within and/ or outside the province of Quebec.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $77,500 - $105,000, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
